Your sessions stay on your phone.

GoSet keeps a local database on your device holding:

• Your timer and activity history (what you ran, when, and for how long)
• Streaks and momentum, computed from that history
• Your settings — sound, haptics, theme, reminder times, and similar preferences
• Any reminders you've set

None of it is tied to a name, an email address, or any account, because GoSet has no accounts.

• No servers of our own. Aside from unlocking GoSet Pro (handled entirely by Apple's App Store — see below), GoSet makes no network requests — there's no backend for your data to be sent to.
• No accounts or sign-in. There's nothing to create, and nothing to lose access to.
• No analytics or tracking. No usage data, crash reports, or behavioral tracking is collected or transmitted, by GoSet or by any third party embedded in it.
• No ads. GoSet has never shown one and has no ad framework built in.
• Nothing to sell. There's no data pipeline to monetize, because there's no data pipeline.

GoSet Pro is a one-time, non-consumable purchase processed entirely by Apple through the App Store's own in-app purchase system (StoreKit). When you buy or restore it, your device talks directly to Apple's servers — GoSet never sees, receives, or stores your payment details, and there's still no GoSet account involved. The only thing GoSet itself stores is a local "Pro unlocked" flag on your device, alongside the same local-only history and settings described above.

GoSet requests exactly one permission: notifications, used to let a timer or reminder alert you when the app isn't open. It's requested only when you actually start a timer or add a reminder — never on first launch — and you can deny or revoke it at any time in your device's system settings without losing any other functionality.

Settings includes an export option that hands your own history to you as a CSV or JSON file, through your device's own share sheet — straight from your phone to wherever you choose to send it. GoSet is never a party to that transfer.

Deleting your history from within the app, or uninstalling GoSet entirely, permanently removes everything GoSet stored. There is no copy anywhere else to delete, because none was ever made.

GoSet doesn't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, of any age — the app has no mechanism to collect personal information from anyone at all, children included.

This update (27 September 2026) is exactly the kind of change this section originally described in advance: GoSet added a feature — GoSet Pro — that involves a network request, and this policy was updated the same day to describe exactly what changed and why. Any future change will work the same way: the "last updated" date above will change, and the new version will describe exactly what changed and why before you'd need to accept it.
